Cosmetic Injectables Brisbane

Our goal with injectable treatments is that they will be natural and undetectable. In our opinion your friends and family should comment that you look refreshed and glowing instead of being able to point out that you’ve had any treatments.

We understand that choosing to undergo cosmetic treatments can be a big decision, which is why we prioritise patient comfort and transparency in all our procedures. During a consultation, we can discuss your aesthetic concerns and recommend the best cosmetic injectable treatment for you.

At Selah Aesthetics , we offer a variety of cosmetic injectable treatments. Our experienced practitioners will work with you to develop a personalised treatment plan that addresses your specific concerns and goals at our Brisbane clinic.

Wrinkle relaxing injections are a purified protein used to smooth and tighten existing lines cause by muscle contraction. The treatment involves a consultation, treatment, and if needed a follow up appointment two weeks after. Onset is usually 4-10days, and treatments last for 3-4months.

Areas often treated with wrinkle relaxants are:
Glabella, Frontalis, Orbicularis Oculi, Masseters, Orbicularis oris/levator labii superioris alaeque nasi muscles that pull the sides of the smile.

Volume loss treatments are commonly used for facial ageing. They can help restore volume.
As we age our skin starts to loose elasticity and shape, fillers are an excellent way to enhance facial features and minimise shadowing. Fillers are commonly used in the below areas.

Over the past two years, the regulators AHPRA and the TGA have increasingly applied stricter rules around what can and can't be advertised and offered on cosmetic websites and social media. From today (March 7th 2024), it was clarified by the TGA that certain previously accepted methods of communicating with patients and marketing are now illegal.

- Price lists can no longer be advertised (prices can still be discussed in person or requested via email)

- Specific treatment options  can no longer be advertised or mentioned (instead, new patients can book in for a generic 'new patient consultation' where we go through all of your options)

- No before and after images can be advertised on websites or social media

What to expect

During your consultation at Selah, you can expect to have a conversation with your practitioner about your goals and concerns regarding your appearance. We will ask you about your medical history, allergies, and any medications you are currently taking to ensure that you are a suitable candidate for cosmetic treatments. Your physician will examine the areas you are interested in treating and offer recommendations on the best course of action to achieve your desired results. They will also discuss the potential risks and benefits of each treatment option and answer any questions you may have. Finally, your practitioner will work with you to develop a personalised treatment plan that takes into account your unique needs and goals. Please know that there is no pressure to proceed with treatment. We encourage you ask all of your questions and to think things through and ensure you are happy and comfortable to go ahead with treatment.
